Only $12 for unlimited 24/7 detailing? Pssshh count me IN. I went today for the first time after a long road trip - it may be self service but it's extremely convenient and I feel as if I got a better deal/got a better clean🤷🏻‍♀️

I have an older used van I recently purchased. Oh my it was so dirty it looked gray. Thanks to East Side Wash and thier one price for unlimited vacuum and wash it now looks nice again. I literally used the high pressure soap for over 45 minutes getting the dirt off then I used the foaming brush to give it a good scrub, then rinsed, and waxed 3 times before going through the dryer on the way out. I was literally there washing my van for 2.5 hours! That's what it took to get the job done. Oh I almost forgot I used the wheel and tire cleaner the chrome wheels were literally black I didn't expect them to clean up at all and they actually look so much better. This is my work van and was indifferent about it's looks until I had the chance to clean it right. I can't think of anywhere you can get this amount of time and freedom to do the job right. Im a long time customer because I am a fiber optics technician. My work vans are all 10' to 11' tall this is one of the few places you can go that can accommodate such vehicles, one is a tall roof dodge promaster with roof AC over 11' tall another is a Mercedes tall roof van with the boom on it. Travel hight is 10' 1". I can wash all the vehicle

Just tried East Side and I’ll rate this a “maybe”. I say this as I know I’m kind of picky but (hopefully) reasonable. This probably IS a good option for many. I used the automatic wash. It’s the kind that only takes 1 car at a time which is a HUGE PLUS imo (continually forcing vehicles onto a conveyor just inches apart always concerns me…one confused driver hitting their breaks could cause a chain reaction I don’t even want to think about). The wash was fairly standard by robot that passes over/around you then back with what looks like synthetic rubber-like agitators to scrub. I do feel like less soaps/solvents were used compared to the big chain nearby. Whatever-my truck was dirty and came out amazingly clean. There was an area around the back of my bed cover where soapy water pooled but I’ve seen worse situations and this could be blown off by the blower (I’ll touch up later). The blower is close to the exit. You pass a sensor and the blowers fire up. I used the existing water beads on my hood to gauge how slow to creep ahead. To my disappointment they must be strictly timed with no exit sensors. So the blowers shut down where I was only 75% through. THIS was a big disappointment

The sprayer wasn’t working on high pressure with soap. Was washing with sponge and a micro fiber and got asked to leave the wash bay because the line was too long didn’t get to wash my mats or make sure finishing cleaning it my tires . So much for unlimited especially when there were people there way longer. I actually liked coming here but that was pretty annoying. I feel like at a certain point there should be a cut off limit as to how many people you can have waiting until people are cleared out. I think the price is fair but I definitely wasted my money because of this

I thought my previous review was a little harsh so I deleted it and remade a post. originally I said that this place was a rip off because the minimum you have to spend is $12. For somebody who likes to consistently come in and just do a quick blow off to keep it semi clean in between deep clean washes, I do think that is a little steep. But on the flip side, I think it’s a pretty good deal if you are there for a deep clean. Only thing I think they could provide are signs with estimated times to completion. Lady in front of me who looked like she had a few too many taquitos, used the brush 5 times to redo the entire car in the wash bay. I sat behind her 35 mins and watched 2 car wash and leave before she was done. She stayed another 15 mins while i was washing my car in the door next to her. If I would have known you planned on vacationing here today, i would never have got behind this lady. Signs would help even if its something basic like “im gunna be here a while” probably better to go to another lane.
